- THE FORMATION OF EARTH -

Earth is only one planet in the solar system that has any characteristics and properties that may us to life in there. Its components such as biosphere, hydrosphere, atmosphere, and lithosphere has support our life in the earth. But, how can such wonderful planets was formed ?. To answer that question, there are some hypotheses from the scientists about the formation of earth. One of those hypotheses is nebula theorem that made by two famous scientists, Immanuel Kant and Pierre Simon De Lapplace. They consider that the formation of earth is related with the formation of solar system.

Based on nebula theorem, the formation of earth is begin with cloud formed in the space. That cloud consists of many kinds of gases in the large amounts. Then, the higher mass of gas attracts the other smaller and caused the cloud combine into a very large gas ball. Its attraction caused the gas molecules hit at each others and the friction of the gas molecules make the gas ball heated and start to spinning. Then, the gas ball spinning faster and faster. It’s caused the mass of gas in the equatorial side is pushed out and the gas ball is become disk like-shaped. Then, some mass of gasses in the equatorial side is thrown out and become some levels of ring-shaped gas.

Each of those ring-shaped gasses is combining to form a smaller gas ball. Each ring forms a gas ball. Then, each gas ball due condensation and frozen into solid state that until now known as planets. And the original gas ball in the centre is keep itself to spinning and heated. So it’s become a star that known as the sun.

Finally, each of those planets and the sun has own gravitational force that caused those planets move around the sun and form the solar system.
